A PERFECT lipstick for a night out!

Hi everyone! So as I was getting ready for dinner at a restaurant, I reached into my makeup bag to find a lip color. I really couldn't decide which one, then I picked out a lipstick that I only use in the daytime. After applying it, it looked really stunning under the night sky. This lipstick is by Mac Cosmetics, and in the color Cream cup. This lipstick is $15.00, but so worth it. It has a creamy formula, which means that it is able to blend and really light on the lips. I had received many complements on it that night. This color is the perfect nude pink color.

How to pack makeup for a vacation!

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to teach you the way I pack my makeup for a trip!

First you need a makeup bag (My makeup bag is from Glitzyglam.com)

I will be listing the products for each category. If some products do not apply to you, don't pack them.

Face-
Moisturizer (for dry skin, if oily skin use an oil free one)
Foundation (if you need a good amount of coverage)
Tinted moisturizer or BB Cream (if you want moisture and a small amount of coverage)
Concealer (to cover up any area that need more coverage)
Powder (to help keep makeup set and help oils stop coming through makeup)
Primer (not an essential, but helps get the face ready for any other face makeup)

Cheeks-
Blush (any formula, but makes the cheeks look healthy and fresh also add color to the face)
Bronzer (makes you face have a warmer glow to the face)
Highlighter (applied to cheek bones to reflect any light and make the face glow)

Eyes-
Eyeshadow primer (to prime eyes and stop the shadow from creasing
Eyeshadows (I recommended bringing little palettes that have about 4 eyeshadows in them)
Eyeliner (Line eyes if wanted)
Mascara (to make lashes longer and fuller looking)

Lips-
Lip balm (Moisturize lips)
Lipstick (to add color)
Lip gloss (to add a glossy sheen to the lips)

Products that are not needed, unless wanted-

How to use a beauty blender & review!

Hey everyone! So today I wanted to show you all beauty blenders and how to use them. Beauty blenders are hot pink rain dropped shaped beauty sponges. I know you can always use a cosmetic wedge. But, because the beauty blender is round it won't make your makeup streak (a cosmetic wedge has edges that make it streak and brushes could streak makeup as well). Most people use the beauty blender damp. Results are best when he sponge is damp because it expands about 2x it's normal size, and it will let the makeup sit on top of the sponge for application and not soak into the center of the sponge. I could seriously go on and on about this makeup tool! It is amazing, and does not cake up makeup! The beauty blender also has a bigger end and a smaller end so you can get really precise with the application of your makeup. You can use the beauty blender to apply a lot of different types of makeup. I usually use it to apply liquid foundation but you can also use it for powder, concealer, blush, ext. ok the beauty blender is kind of expensive. there are dupes that are cheaper than the beauty blender that you can find at local drugstores, but they most likely will not work as well. now I will share with you the easy steps I follow to use my beauty blender!
1) take sponge and run it under luke warm sink water for about 20-30 seconds.
2) dip sponge in makeup
3) stipple sponge on area of wanted application.
4) keep stippling (or bouncing) the sponge on your face so you can evenly blend it out!
This sponge is about $20 for one

Maybelline ROCKET mascara review!

Hi everyone! So today I wanted to review my new favorite mascara. This mascara is the Maybelline Rocket Mascara! This product arrived at the drugstore in the beginning of 2013. This mascara is less than $10.00, and I bought mine at Walgreens! This mascara really lengthens my lashes and gives them volume at the same time! This is not one of those mascara's that promises no clumps, but it does un clump my lashes too. Plus the packaging is so cute. The normal packaging is a royal blue color with hot pink accents. The waterproof packaging is the same royal blue color with lighter blue accents. The brush is a normal rubber brush your would find at the drugstore, but it is stiffer which allows its bristles to really get at the root of your lashes to lengthen them. The formula is a perfect formula. It is not too thick, but not too thin.

Beauty Essentials

This post is about the cosmetics that you should have all the time!

1) You should always have a Chapstick or two to help those chapped lips.

2) A face cream that you really like and hydrates your face.

3) A clear gloss to give your lips a shiny look.

4) A body cream that is scented or not, most of mine are though.

5) Makeup Wipes/ remover to take off that makeup that has been on your face!

6) This not a necessity but a colored lipstick

7) A concealer if you want to cover up dark circles.

8) A foundation or a BB cream if you want to cover up anything on your face.

9) A perfume or body mist that you like and think matches you mood, or think you will get a lot of complements on.

10) A mascara that DOES NOT CLUMP, and lengthens well!

Color Whispers

I love the color whispers by Maybelline. If you really love revlon lip butters, then you should try this. They are so much more creamy and do not melt ( I have heard a lot of stories of how revlon lip butters have melted)! Also the packaging is just to die for! I really like mine and it is in the color Coral Ambition. The pictures below are what mine looks like, and what the packaging looks like so you can find it easier. You can find these at a local Drug store, I got mine at CVS. I really suggest getting one, I am hoping to get another one soon!

A Dupe for The Viva Glam MAC Lipstick

If you really like/wanted the viva la glam (Lady Gaga lipstick by MAC) then you should really like the Pink Pop color vivid by Maybelline. I purchased mine at CVS and the vivids are a NEW collection. The first picture is the Viva La Glam and the second is of the Vivid. The vivid is more pink, but it is still a really good dupe! (These pictures below were taken by the Happy in Hot Pink Team!!!)
