ItsJudyTime & ThatsHeart BH Cosmetics Palettes | Review, Swatches & Comparison

Hello Beauty Lovers! I have done a handful of posts on the ItsJudyTime Palette and the ThatsHeart Palette, so I thought it was appropriate to do a review, swatch, and comparison with both palettes. Here we go...

The packaging between the two are very different. Heart's palette has a square shape, and Judy's has a rectangle. Also, the art on the outside of the palettes are pretty much polar opposite. Heart's palette has a more romantic and girly vibe to it, where as Judy's palette is a lot more classy and simple. The material is the same, a sturdy cardboard type of material.

I like how both of these palettes have a mirror on the inside, and to add to that, the mirrors are great quality too. Judy went for a simple rectangular shape mirror to match the shape of the palette, and Heart went for a heart shaped mirror to match the heart on the outside. As for the content of the palettes, Judy's palette contains 12 eyeshadows, and Heart's palette contains 8 eyeshadows, 1 bronzer, 1 highlighter, and 1 blush.

Here are the swatches for the ItsJudyTime Palette. Overall the quality was very nice, smooth and pigmented.

Here are the swatches for the ThatsHearts Palette.

Comparison-
The quality of eyeshadow is the exact same, because they are both from BH Cosmetics. I guess it really just depends on personal preference...

Heart's Palette-
-More shimmery eyeshadows than Matte
- It does contain 1 blush, 1 bronzer, and 1 highlighter which makes traveling more convenient
-Half of the eyeshadows are neutrals and half are colorful

Judy's Palette-
- Versatility in finishes
- Versatility in Colors

Color Crush #3: Thanksgiving Edition! (Golds & Browns) ♡

Hello Beauty Lovers! Today I have the third installment of the Color Crush series! Since Thanksgiving is approaching, I thought I would focus on golds and browns! Without further ado...

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette - This is an amazing palette to have, especially for this time of the year! This palette has a variety or rose-hued neutral shades! I know that it sounds a bit scary, but trust me... it is so beautiful. I did a whole review on the product, click here for a in-depth review

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP - On Benefit's website, they describe this color as 'sparkling champagne', which is completely accurate. This product is extremely creamy, but I do have very oily eyelids so I do need to prime my eyes properly, before applying this. This product is very beautiful on the eyes!

EM Cosmetics Waterliner in Ro's Gold - I am in love with the beautiful rose gold color of this eyeliner! It's very creamy and pigmented! Interesting Fact: The smudging sponge at the end of the eyeliner can come off and if you flip it over, it is a eyeliner sharpener! How cool!

L'Oréal Collection Privee Lipstick In Jlo's Nude - This is one of my favorite drugstore nude lipsticks! It is a beautiful sheer nude, so if you do not want a super opaque nude, this is a great one! Something to note: It has a very strong lipstick smell, but I love that smell so it does not bother me, but it's something to keep in mind.

Buxom Big & Healthy / Full- On Lipstick in Sydney- Honestly, if you could get buy one product from this post, I would get this one. This is my absolute favorite nude lipstick ever! It is so flattering and it is matte too, which is so beautiful! This is also my go-to lip color to pull my entire look together.

Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Nude Crème - This lipstick is one of my two favorite drugstore nude lipsticks (the other one being the L'Oréal lipstick)! It is so creamy and is so flattering on the lips! It has such a lovely watermelon smell! I also have a review of this, click here for the review.

ThatsHeart Palette | Overview

Hi everyone! About a month ago, I did a post doing a quick overview on the ItsJudyTime BH Cosmetics palette, and I wanted to buy Heart's palette too, because I love Heart's videos as well. I did the same type of thing as Judy's palette with Heart's palette, meaning that when I opened it I took some pictures!

This is what the palette looked like when I first took it out of the box. I love how girly and romantic this palette looks with the heart, the lace, the doilies, and pink all over it.

This is what the palette looks like from the inside. It has the theme of the outside packaging with the heart mirror, the lace, the doilies, and  subtle light pink and white stripes. This palette includes 8 eyeshadows, a bronzer, a highlighter, and a blush. The eyeshadows are mostly shimmery, and I think 1 matte shade. I do have to say BH Cosmetics eyeshadows are so smooth and great quality! What I love so much about this palette is how every neutral shadow looks different from one another, and the colorful shadows are just stunning!

I am super excited to use this palette more! Soon I will do a combined review of both palettes together, so you can see the comparison between the two and other things like that!

October Favorites | 2014

Hello wonderful people! Can you believe that October is over?! Also, can you believe that it is almost 2015?! This year has flown by so fast, especially this month. I thought I could show you some favorites of the month...

Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss This product has been my absolute lip saver this month! These used to be really big in the internet beauty community last year, and I never bought any then. I finally bought it, and I love it so much. The scent is so amazing, the consistency is smooth like butter (you probably figured that because of the name) and it moisturizes the lips like no other! I wouldn't recommend using this product right before applying lipstick, because it is a bit thick. Trust me you need this!

ItsJudyTime BH Cosmetics Palette I bought this palette early this month and I can honestly say that it is so amazing. If you do not know who Judy is, she is a beauty guru on youtube and a daily vlogger on youtube too! Last December this palette came out and it was super successful, and yet again I jumped on the ban wagon really late! All the shades are beautiful and blend really well. Definitely something that you need!

MAC Crème Cup Lipstick This was my first MAC lipstick ever, and I have to admit, this lipstick got me hooked to the MAC lipsticks! With my collection always growing, I tend to forget about my old favorites, and I started using it again and I love it. The formula is a cremesheen lipstick, meaning that it is creamy and and smooth to apply. The shade itself is what I describe as the 'my lips but better' lipstick. It adds a bit of something to the lips without looking un-natural. It is a must in my collection!

Real Techniques Setting Brush I purchased this brush a few months ago with almost no idea on what to use it for, but I had heard that Real Techniques was a really good brush company for the price, and I was curious. Let me tell you, that it was one of the smartest makeup/brush decisions I ever made. I use it for so many things. I used it to blend out concealer, to contour my face, and my favorite use... to set my under eye concealer and eye primer with powder. The brush is so soft, and I need more Real Techniques brushes.

The Style Diet by Anna Saccone Let me start off by telling a story about the book. The person who wrote the book has a youtube channel and she daily blogs with her husband too. She wrote this book a couple of years ago, but if you are interested in how to dress for your shape, this is the book for you. It is quite a short book with 86 pages, but it also teaches you how to be confident in your body without working out. It's an amazing book, and it is really handy too, because it has some outfit suggestions as well.
