It's BLOGMAS day 12! Christmas and New Years is quickly approaching, and wouldent it be nice to be wearing a bold red lip to your next holiday party? We'll we've got you covered! In this post we will give you some tips and tricks so your red lip will stay pretty looking all night!
Step 1: exfoliate & hydrate lips. Nothing looks worse than dry, cracked lips under a bold lip! But it's an easy fix! (Lush, bublegum lip scrub. Nivea, lip butter)
Step 2: apply red lipstick carefully and slowly. A red lip looks amazing with clean lines. Use a lip liner if necessary. (COVERGIRL, hot passion) Step 3: shape your lips. Use concealer very close to your skin tone to clean up your red lip so it doesn't smudge outside of your lips. Apply the concealer very close to your lips then blend it out. This will also define your lips too. Step 4: set lipstick & concealer. Take a thin tissue, translucent powder & a powder brush. Place tissue over lips. Dust powder over tissue. Setting the lipstick & concealer will make our lipstick last longer.
